Bhu-Shringar Foundation is an established organization committed to serving Mother Earth with renewed dedication and community cooperation. We focus on restoring degraded landscapes, promoting afforestation, and advancing innovative horticultural practices to create sustainable green spaces.
The Foundation draws its roots from M/s Bhu Shingar, a registered firm founded in 1985 by Mr. Biresh Raheja, a PM Management/Honours Graduate in Agriculture and Horticulture. With over 40 years of hands-on experience, Mr. Raheja has led pioneering efforts in landscape development, including terrace gardens, challenging green belts, and the successful transplantation of large mature trees up to 9 feet in girth.
Our team comprises well-qualified and experienced professionals supported by strong infrastructure and unique, self-developed bio-technique procedures. These methods have transformed barren, rocky, and degraded lands into vibrant, thriving ecosystems achieving extraordinary growth rates (up to 250%) and incorporating effective bio-termite control.
Mr. Raheja’s passion for horticulture began early in his career, serving as the youngest Section Officer (Horticulture) in the Central Public Works Department (CPWD), where he was entrusted with the care of VVIP bungalows and prestigious government offices in Lutyens’ Delhi. A major road accident in 1982 led to a life-changing challenge, yet inspired by the guidance of his father, the late Shri Maheshwar Nath Raheja—a respected agriculturalist—and the blessings of his family and spiritual mentors, he chose to pursue his vision independently.

Among many landmark achievements, the team has planted more than one million trees and shrubs across India. Notable projects include establishing the world’s largest industrial seashore greenbelt on the marshy, saline lands of NFCL in Kakinada (Andhra Pradesh) and transforming the hard, rocky landscapes of Vasant Kunj and JNU in New Delhi into lush green zones.
The Rajasthan Wasteland Board recognized our pioneering approach to Jojoba plantation and offered significant land parcels for development. Similarly, the Central Arid Zone Research Institute (CAZRI), Jodhpur expressed keen interest in collaboration, further validating our expertise.
Today, Bhu-Shringar Foundation continues this legacy with an even stronger commitment to environmental restoration, community engagement, and sustainable innovation. Guided by the belief that every barren space can be revived, we stand ready to accept any challenge in the field of landscape plantation and ecological transformation.
